Strelok

The main character of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadows of Chernobyl.

It's been ages since I drew a male face, and I don't want my skill to become too one-sided, since that'll only come back to haunt me in the future. I chose one of the most expressive faces in video games today, the Marked One.

I've used a different method for this one, first drawing the outlines and working all across the face, gradually adding details, instead of my usual method, where I would detail small parts in sequence.

WIP I: Made the general outlines, started detailing the face. Gun details will be left for last, the face is most important.


WIP II: More details and shading added. I kinda like the more "stylized" look I'm using in this one, and I'm seriously thinking of keeping it that way instead of adding too much detail.


Finished! Gave it a slightly greenish hue to make it reminiscent to the scene the photo is from, and finished the AKm-47
